Step I Revision & Lead in:复习并导入

T: Greeting

S: Greetings

T: Today I have a present for you. If you can, you will get them..

T: First let’s sing a song together.

T: The boy in the song wants to go to Beijing. And the girl wants to go to Sanya. And Where do you want to go this summer vacation? 通过问答,复习句型。

T: So today there is a story for you. There is a couple. Let’s find “Where do they want to go?” (板书标题:Unit3 Story Time)

设计思路:Lead in the text by the song.歌曲演唱可以营造学习英语的气氛;适当的引导提问和对话起到复习句型的作用、培养语言技能、又为新课学习热身;小礼物折出示调动学生学习英语的积极性、拉近师生的距离,为上好本节课并奠定基础。

Step Ⅱ Presentation新课呈现

Primary Perception & solve the problem:初步感知课文并解决新知识

1. Ss watch the video. (教师播放故事视频) Let students try to understand the story and find out the words and the phrases they don’t understand. (学生边看视频、边寻找生词)

2. Teacher shows the text on the screen:Who can tell me which words and phrases you don’t understand. (学生汇报生词)

3. T; Who can tell me their meaning and pronunciation? (已经预习好的学生教生词的发音和含义)

They learn the new words together. Teacher asks Ss to make sentences one by one. (让学生读、翻译并应用造句)

设计思路:The use of images to train Ss’ abilities of listening, understanding, solving the problem and using. Those can help them understand the text.培养听力、理解能力及应用能力,帮助理解课文。

Step Ⅲ. Production and drill.操作并练习

(一)Read the text and answer the questions读课文并回答问题

1. T:Next let’s watch the video again and repeat. (教师一边播放视频并让学生跟读、齐读)

T: Look here. 教师指向板书的地图Where is it? 板书:Seoul, Beijing, Kunming, Thailand, Australia.

2. T: Now I have some questions for you. Who can read and translate? (出示问题,让学生翻译并带着问题分角色读课文)

T: Then let’s read the story by yourselves. Try to find out the answers,OK? (学生自由读课文并寻找答案)
