Step 1:Greeting and Introduction
Begin by greeting the class with a smile and good morning!
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning, Miss Zhang.
T:What day is it today;What’s the date today?;How’s the weather?
Step 2: Lead in
Review the words that is related to activities (swim,run,take photos,climb a hill,jumping rope,roller skating ,ping -pong,basketball,row a boat,read books ,sing songs,dance)
Ask students to show the activity and guess what it is.
Step3:Presentation
1.Show a picture about me and introduce myself to students.
T:Who is She ?
S:Miss Zhang .
T:I am 27 years old. I like swimming. I like running.I like playing basketball.
What do you like?
S:I like...... I like..... I like......
T:I like...... .This is my hobby. (Lead in hobby and teach the word hobby and hobbies)
Look and listen lesson 1 part A and tell me what is my hobby?(show a picture about their hobby.and ask students who are they?)
T:I am Lily ? What is my hobby?
S2: I like reading.
Look and listen lesson 1 part A again .
T:What is Joy’s hobby?
S: singing and dancing
T:Joy is a boy?or a girl?
S:A girl
