(2)想一想,说一说
说与教师描述相反意思的话,即教师就一种动物的特征进行描述,学生举出相反的例子,以此巩固所学新词汇。如:
T:The mouse runs fast.
S: The panda runs slowly.
T: The elephant is big.
S: The bee is small.
T:The butterfly can fly.
S: The fish can swim.
T:The giraffe is tall.
S: The rabbit is short.
(3)读前活动:导入故事主题
然后让学生分组自由发言,相互介绍自己喜欢的动物并说明理由。例如:
S1: My favourite animal is the monkey because it is cute.
S2: My favourite animal is the elephant because it is big and strong.
...
教师巡视并随机与学生交流。活动结束后,教师提出假设问题并让学生分组进行讨论,记录结果:Just now you told us your favourite animals and your reasons. Now let’s suppose you are a cat. What’s your favourite animal? Why? Now you are a dog. What’s your favourite animal? Why?
讨论结束后,教师收集学生讨论结果,与学生共同分享,并导入本单元的故事主题:
My favourite animal is dog,his name is cookie,he’s lonely and wants to find a new friend.So he ask Lucky for help.Can he find his new friend? Let’s go and see.
2.读中活动:学习故事
教师借助图片,逐一讲述故事并提出问题,引导学生细致观察图片,加深对故事的理解。
图2-3:观察图片思考:Does the Lucky want to make friend with the Elephant? Why? What about Cookie ?让学生仔细观察图片,查找答案,并在答案下画线。
图4-5:观察图片引导学生自己质疑:Does the Lucky want to make friend with the Butterfly? Why? What about Cookie ?让学生仔细观察图片,查找答案,并在答案下画线。
图6-7:观察图片引导学生自己质疑:Does the Lucky want to make friend with the Turtle? Why? What about Cookie ?让学生仔细观察图片,查找答案,并在答案下画线。
图8:引导学生观察图片猜测:Who will be Cookie’s favourite friend ?四人一组讨论。
3. 读后活动:进一步熟悉故事
(1)读故事,再次理解故事内容。
(2) 学生独立浏览故事,熟悉文本。
(3) 分角色朗读故事:男生朗读狗说的话,女生朗读猫说的话。
(4) 学生两人一组,尝试表演故事。
