T: I’m fine, too. Who knows : which festival is coming?

Ss: Mother’s Day.

T: Yes. What do you want to do for your mum?

S1: I want to make a card,

S2: I want to buy some flowers.

T: You are so warm.

Pre-task preparation

1. Watch the video---Housework A present for mum

T: Davina has a friend. He also wants to give a present to his mum.

Let’s watch a short video. After watching, tell me : What’s his present?

Ss: Housework.

T: Well done. Today, let’s learn something about chores.

Tips:视频活跃了课堂的气氛，学生通过画面能感受到主人公对妈妈的爱，激发学生的感恩之心，产生了亲情的共鸣，为后面引导学生能主动为父母分担家务做铺垫。
