(设计意图:利用视频和声音吸引学生注意力,同时让学生初步感知如何介绍一种动物,为后面学生自己介绍动物作好铺垫。)
Ⅱ.Pre-talking
1.Teach “kind”
T: Last weekend, I went to the zoo and got this zoo’s map. There’re five kinds of animals. 呈现”kinds”, 并教读。
(设计意图:以“动物园地图”为情景,教授新词)
2. Review the five words: birds, mammals, fish, insects, reptiles.
T: Look, I can’t see these names clearly. Can you tell me?
(设计意图:复习第一课时学习过的类别词,为后面运用功能句:
“What kind of animal are...? They’re...” 交流作好铺垫。同时,复习一些
常见动物的分类。)
3.Pair-work: Find their homes
T: Some animals can’t find their home.
(设计意图:复习动物单词,一方面为学生复习更多的动物单词,一方面为学生后面练习功能句作好铺垫。)
T: What kind of animals are whales? 呈现重点句型,并教读,强调kind of 的连读。教师示范回答:They are mammals.
T: Can you help the others? Work in pairs, and talk about it.
(设计意图:运用两人对话的形式,使学生更好的掌握功能句的意义,从而能够在语境中运用功能句交流。)
