Sing the English song:What do you want to do?

二.Presentation

1.导入:Ask the students:-What do you do?-We are students.

-What do I do?-You are an English teacher.

T:Yes.Student and teacher are professional vocabulary.Now let us learn some more words about work.

2.新授:Show the PPT,teach the word:factory worker.用直拼法教授该单词的发音,通过多种形式的读的练习,让学生掌握该单词的发音。配合PPT的插图及教师的口头英文释义,让学生理解该单词的意义。Factory worker:A person who works in a factory.Teach the new word:postman,businessman,police officer in the same way.拓展了解词汇:postwoman,businesswoman.通过图片对比让学生了解掌握。

Postman/postwoman:A person who works in the post office,He/she send letters or newspapers for us.

Businessman/businesswoman:A person who works in business.He/She usually works in different cities or countries.

Police officer:A member of a police force.
