1. Let’s do some review (I have some old friends. look at the big screen. Who’s is it? (sunny, windy,cloudy ,snowy ,rainy).Point to these words-----weather.---How’s the weather?(板书)
2. Show them some other pictures. Now let’s learn more words about the weather. Have them match the pictures with the words.
Ask one student :
—How’s the weather today?
—It’s cloudy/ sunny/ …
---It’s hot /warm/cool/cold/….

Step 3. Practice
1. Play a guessing game .
Give them some pictures of weather .
Student A: How’s the weather ?
Student B: It’s sunny / cloudy /hot /warm/…
2. Race.
Give the first student every team a card , let them ask next student : “ How’s the weather ?” the next student answer : “ It’s….. (One by one . Who the quickest ? )
Which one is the winner ? Give their team to add a star .They only have one minute. The pair with the most right words is the winner.
3.Listen and repeat
The teacher will speak English and the students will speak Chinese , If I will speak Chinese , they speak English .
