Step 1 Warm up
1.Greetings: Stand up. Good morning,boys and girls.
设计意图:互相亲切的问候,自然把学生带入到学习英语的氛围中,为下一步的教学做了一个良好的开端。
2. Review
Show the pictures of rabbit, cat, panda, dogs. Let students say the sentences: I like the rabbit/cat/panda/dogs. Do you like the rabbit/cat/panda/dogs?Yes, I do.
Then show the title.
设计意图:学生通过对之前学过的单词和旧句型的复习,为新授课的内容做铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation
Lead in the new word: tiger.
T: Do you want to know more animals? Let’s watch the video.
设计意图:学生通过看老虎的视频短片,引起对学习新知识的浓厚兴趣。
Teach the word: tiger.
Show the toy of tiger and then have the students repeat.
Look at the screen and say: a tiger.
Ask some students to touch and say: tiger.
