Nice to see you, boys and girls. Today, we are going to learn--Lesson 8 What does your father do?(板书课题)Then divide the students into two groups: Group 1and Group 2. Let them make a competition.
Before we have our class, I have some questions to ask you:
Do you usually watch TV at home? What is your favorite cartoon ?(学生自由回答) My favorite cartoon is “大头儿子和小头爸爸”。The teacher shows the pictures of the father and the mother in this cartoon,引出mother,father和parents单词的学习。
Presentation
The teacher continues to show more picture about jobs,一边看图,一边根据图片猜单词意思。
教师带读单词升调降调后,要求学生边读单词,边拿出手指来笔画单词。老师拿出单词卡认读,请学生回答并予以小组加分。
Play a game named magic fingers。教师出示几个手指头,要求学生读单词读几遍。再请学生单独举手读单词,并予以小组加分。
Practice
Show the PPT,What does the teacher’s father/mother do?引出句子练习。
例:A:What does he/she do?
B:He/She is a _____.
教师带读对话,多形式读对话。比如the teacher asks and the students answer、the students ask and the teacher answers、Group 1 ask and Group 2 answer、Group 2 ask and Group 1 answer。
Pair work. 小组合作练习对话,Every two students in one group. One asks and the other answers.
在举荐2组上讲台表演对话。(Let’s clap for them.鼓掌)
