Step 2: Teach new words
1、T:You’re very good! Now we start to learn Unit 1 《Who is cousin Harry》.Please look at this picture! This is my family. And this is my grandmother,this is my grandfather, and this is my mother.Who are they ? Now let’s learn how to introduce your family member.Show some pictures and teach the other new words:
son daughter brother sister uncle aunt cousin
2、Read these words,each three times.
3、Let’s play a game! I’ll choose two words as a bomb.When I read the bomb word,you don’t read it.When I read other words,you should read it loudly. Ok?
Tell the students the game rule in Chinese and change some bomb words to play one more time.
The whole class read the words together.
5、Lead students to play “I read loudly ,you read slightly”.The teacher read a word loudly,the students should read the word slightly as quickly as possible.
