Step1. Warm up
Let students stand up and do sports.
T: Do you like sports?What sports do you like?
(设计意图:课前的运动热身与本课内容相关,活跃课堂气氛的同时,调动学生学习兴趣,为本课学习创造积极的氛围。)
Step2. Lead- in
a.老师和学生赛跑,老师胜利。
T : I can run fast, I’m good at running.
老师边说边伸出大拇指表示很棒,引出句型: be good at…
T: What about you?
Find some students to say” I ‘m good at…” then, let students say, Make some new sentences to their partners.
(设计意图:创设情境,导入目标内容,让学生轻松接受目标语言,并通过与同桌谈话熟练句型。)
b.T shows the picture “basketball” and lead in the sentence:I’m good at basketball.Students can practice by some balls in their hands.
(设计意图:通过实物让他们操练语言,更增加趣味性,让他们感受语言的真实性。)
Step3 Successful presentation
I play volleyball and say“ I’m good at volleyball,Are you good at volleyball?” let students say ”yes, I am./no, I ‘m not.” 引出单词“volleyball”和句型“Are you good at…?”
(设计意图:实物导入,结合动作学习并操练句型,让学生从实际情景中感受英语的魅力。)
PPT 出示:A:I’m good at…. Are you good at…?
B: Yes, I am./ No, I’m not. I’m good at….
(设计意图:小组进行会话,让学生自由地运用目标语言进行交流,锻炼学生的合作能力和语言运用能力。)
b.Let them sum up “be good at”grammar point by themselves.

Step4Successful cooperation

Let students look at the cards of “first” “second” and “third” and guess their meaning. Then, listen and follow the tape some times.
I point a student of the first row, let students say” first” I point the second row, they say ”second” , then, show some pictures, let students say sentences.
