Listen to an English song: Twinkle,twinkle,little star.As the students listen ,the teacher does finger fuck and asks students to follow.

Step2 lead in

After listening to the English song , ask students the questions:

T: Do you like singing ? Ss: Yes/No.

T: Do you like dancing ? Ss: Yes/No.

(If they can’t understand ,do the action and let students understand and answer them.)

T: Great!On Children’s Day,we often sing and dance.Now let’s learn the new class:Unit6 I danced on Children’s Day last year.Ask students read it after the teacher. Then invite some students to read it.

Step3 Presentation

一、 Learn the new words: piano drum violin

1.Show the instrument pictures one by one on the PPT.

2.Teacher reads these words at a low voice, Students listen carefully?and imitate correctly.

3.Let students know how to express to play an instrument: play the +name of instrument.

二、Let’s chant.

三、 Learn the new words: ribbon dance flower-drum dance fan dance.

Show the pictures one by one on the PPT, teach each word and let students read after the teacher.Make sure all of them can read the words fluently.

Step4 Word games

Show the word cards and let students say the words.

Ask some students match the pictures with the words on the blackboard.

Look at my mouth,say the word.

Show the actions and let students say the word. Then ask a student to act in front of the class,others tell the word.

Show the picture on the screen and ask students to say the word.

Step 5 Presentation

Show the pictures and tell students how to talk about what you did on Children’s Day last year. Show the structures on the screen:I played the.../I danced the ... dance. First ,the teacher gives an example. Then let students work in pairs to make conversations with the structure.Invite some students to show in class.

Step 6 Practice

Groupwork: Show 6 pictures on the screen and let students work in groups to make sentences with the structure:I played the.../I danced the ... dance.Invite 2 groups to act in class.

Work in pairs.Make conversation with the structure:

A:What did you do on Children’s Day last year?

B:I played the.../I danced the ... dance.

Invite some students to act the conversation in class .

Step 7 Summary and homework
