Step 1 Organization:

Organize the students and concentrate their minds before class by chapping hands. Do a warming up by singing an English song called “Nice to meet you”.

T: Everybody show me your hands, listen to me carefully. (Students clap hands after me.)

T: Class begins, hello everyone.

Ss: Hello teacher.

T: Sit down, please. Before our class, let’s sing a song called “Nice to meet you” together. Are you ready?

Ss: Yes. (Students stand up, sing and act after the video.)

Step 2 Lead-in:

1. Sit the situation that today is Zhaosheng Han’s birthday, and students sing the birthday song for her.

T: Look at the picture, who is she?

Ss: Zhaosheng Han.

T: Let’s say “Nice to meet you, Zhaosheng Han!”

Ss: Nice to meet you, Zhaosheng Han!
