My topic today is taken from Unit 1 of Grade 7 .The main topic is “People around us”, and this Lesson is the sixth period of this unit—the writing part. The title is the person I love. In this period, students will discuss which person they love best and the appearance, age, job, activities and their comment of this person. They need to write down a composition about the person they love.

教学目标

1. Knowledge objects

(1) To speak out some words and phrases about describing persons.

(2) To learn to write a short article about the persons they love best.

2. Ability objects

(1) To develop the students’ abilities of speaking and writing.

(2) To train the students’ ability of working in pairs and groups.

(1) Make the students pay more attention to the persons around them.

(2) Encourage the students to love the persons around them.

学情分析

The students have learnt the new words and phrases in this unit. And they have learnt the reading-My grandma, Alice, Mr. Li. The students are familiar with the topic and interested in the topic. Many students are active and they can express their opinions correctly. But some students are poor in English and can’t speak out many correct sentences.
