Teaching Procedure:

Step1. Warming up and lead in:

1. Greeting with students as usual

2. Sing a song- Heads shoulders and knees and toes

3. Divided them into two groups and two groups Pk.

4. Show a picture about the kitchen and ask students what you can see to lead in the unit theme.

Step2. Presentation

Show a magic box and ask students to guess what is in it? Then let students come to the front and put up the things. Lead in the new words box、bowl、plate、fork and teach them the pronounce of these words.

Show some pictures and teach the new sentences. “What’s in the box? There is a plate in the box.”

Through the sentences to lead in the preposition of location words on、in、under、beside.

Step3. Practice

Activity1: Play a hot potato game.

Show a box to students and play the music. Students pass the box one by one .When the music stop who hold the box who read the words box、bowl、plate、fork.

Activity2: Play a game-I do you say.

I do the act and students say the words on、in、under、beside.

Activity 3: Two students in a pair to find the differences.

Show two pictures and ask students to find the differences. Use the sentences to answer the question.
