1. Show the pictures. Listen to the rhyme, let Ss guess the meaning, then read after the tape.
2. Let Ss look at the pictures carefully. T asks some questions:
Look at the people in the picture. Are they happy? (No, they’re sad.)
Why?(There’s a fire.)
What can they do?(Call 119.)
Who can help them?(The fireman can help them.)

II. While-task procedures
1. Teach the words of jobs: bus driver, doctor, fireman, nurse, teacher.
2. Ss read and spell the words.
3. T puts the word cards on the blackboard. Number for each word. Ss listen and say the numbers quickly.
4. Show the items related to learning professional image (like: doctor, nurse, teacher, fireman). Just about: Nurse uniform, chalk and fire hat. Ss try to say the jobs.
5. Show your family tree. Introduce your family and their jobs. Ask some questions
about your family members.
T: Look! This is my family tree. This is my father. He’s a teacher. This is my mother. She’s a nurse. This is my uncle. He’s a doctor. This is me. I’m a teacher.
(Point to your mother in the family tree)
Who’s she? Is she a nurse?
Ss answer.
6. Show a picture of a big family. Introduce the family members. Let Ss listen carefully and answer some questions.
T: She’s very tall. Who is she?
She works in a hospital. He likes his students very much. What does she do?
III. Post-task activities:
1. Let Ss to complete the family tree. Then introduce their family members each other.
