Step 1. Warm-up & Review

1) 播放现在进行时的小视频,让学生复习上节课所学的现在进行时的结构及用法。

2) 口头操练句型:

What is he/she doing? He/She is ...ing.

What are they doing? They are...ing.

Is he/she doing...? Yes, he/she is./No, he/she isn’t.

Are they doing...? Yes, they are. /No, they aren’t.

Step 2. Check the preview.

Read out the new words.

Play a game.

Check the first learning case.

Step 3. New Teaching

1. Play the tape for 1a and choose the correct answers.

2. Watch the video for 1a and mark T or F, finish 1b.

3. Play the tape for 1a and let the students repeat.

4. Key points.

5. Read aloud and act out 1a.

6. Pair work: make up conversations with the given words (color pens, two days, storybooks, don’t have).

7. Play a game.

8. Play the tape for 2a and complete the conversation with the correct words or phrases.

9. Work in pairs, Practice 2a and make up a new conversation and finish 2b.
