四、教学步骤
Step 1 Greeting
师生问好，快速让学生们进入状态。
Step 2 Warm up
Sing a song (利用多媒体播放一首有关家庭成员的儿歌，与同学们一起边唱边做动作，烘托课堂气氛）
Step 3 Free Talk
利用句子“How many people are there in your family? ”进行对话练习，为接下来导入进行前期铺垫。
Step 4 Review
出示已经学过的家庭成员单词，学生进行阅读，并用This is ... 句型进行单词复习。
Step 5 Lead in
出示Look and learn中Jill的家谱，教师戴上Jill的头饰，指着图片中的Jill的父母，进行介绍，引导学生思考家庭成员其他人的英语称呼。
Step 6 New lesson
1.(出示Look and learn中Jil家谱中的father和mother,单独介绍，再学习parent与parents.
T: (point to Jill’s father in the picture) Who is he?
Ss: He is Jill’s father.
T: (point to Jill’s mother in the picture) Who is she?
Ss: She is Jill’s mother.
T: This is my father. This is my parent.(point to Jill’s father)
This is my mother. This is my parent.(point to Jill’s mother)
They are my parents.(学习parents并区分单复数）
（单词游戏：Touch and say）
2.引出生词grandfather，grandmother，用同样的方法进行grandparents的教授。然后出示单词卡片，让学生跟读和拼读。
(show the flashcard for grandfather) Grandfather. G-R-A-N-D-F-A-T-H-E-R, grandfather.
（单词游戏：pass and say;jump and say）
出示Jill家谱，引入uncle,并强调其在汉语中的含义。通过相关发音单词强调U的发音。并用句子“This is ...”介绍。
（单词游戏：big or small sound）
出示aunt,并说明其汉语释义。同样用相同发音单词强调a的发音。并用句子“This is ...”介绍。用“They are my ...”介绍两个人。
