Lead-in:
Sing the song what are you doing now to arouse their interest. Then Read the learning objectives together loudly.
Pre-reading:
Step 1. Show pictures to present new words and also their V-ing form.
Step 2. Look at the pictures and guess where they are. Pay attention to the preposition.
While-reading
Step 1: Read 1a quickly and silently, then match the activities in 1b by themselves. Check answers in groups.
Step 2: Read 1a again carefully and underline be+v.-ing structure and read these sentences loudly. Ask 3 students to underline on the blackboard and check answers together.
Step 3: Make sentences with be+v.-ing and key words in 1b. Show an example in case Ss don’t understand.
4. Post-reading:
