教学步骤:
Step1.Leading-in
1)Free talk.
Get Ss to look at a video about France, and show Ss a map of France.
Ask Ss some questions about France.
Where is France? Which city is the capital of France? Are there any countries near France? What are they?
(设计意图:通过看法国旅游的宣传片,了解法国的风土人情和名胜古迹,充分激发学生的学习兴趣。展示地图给学生看,让学生清晰地看到法国的地理位置和熟悉周边国家如英国、德国、意大利……等)
2) Take a quiz, then show more pictures to Ss.
(设计意图:通过看图选答案,让学生了解法国的著名景点凯旋门、法式面包、法语、法国香水等,并展示更多的图片让学生进一步熟悉法国的旅游热点)
3) Get Ss to look at the pictures on page 16, finish the exercises A.
(设计意图:让学生边做题边思考,除了选出正确答案,还要说出另外选项的出处,拓展学生的思维。)
Step2.Pre-reading
Ask Ss to look at the photos ,the title of the article on page 17. Then answer the questions below. (finish exercise B on page 16.)
(设计意图:引导学生去浏览课文,学会看图和看标题,培养学生从图片和标题去猜测答案的解题能力。)
Step3. While- reading
1)Tell Ss to read the text quickly and finish exercise (回答问题)
(设计意图:给时间学生边看视频边理解课文,然后从课文中找出答案回答问题,这部分是细节阅读,教会学生找答案的技巧。)
2)Read the text again and complete exercise (判断正误)
(设计意图:在细节阅读后,辨别句子的正误,对学生的阅读理解要求更高,除了判断正误,还要对错误的题目进行修改。)
3)Finish the exercise on P19. then check the answers.
Step4.Post-reading
a)Discussion (group work):
Get Ss to read the article again and then discuss and answer questions with your partners..
1:Which place in Paris should a person visit if he or she likes shopping?
2:Where can tourists go in France for a summer holiday? Where for a winter holiday?
3:Why does the author say “France has something for everyone”?
4.Can you think of another title for the article?
(设计意图:第1、2题比较简单,学生容易找到答案,但是第3、4题就有难度了,需要对课文进行全面理解后才能归纳出答案,所以,让学生进行小组讨论,通过讨论,集中组员的意见,把答案完整地呈现出来,因为答案不止一项。)
