Pre-task preparations
1.Warming-up.
In this part, I’ll ask the question: “Do you want to know my activities?” Then show the video about my day to the students. Students watch the videos. And it can be a good way to link to the new lesson.
Show a table of my school life .
Give the activity a different frequency.
While-task procedures
1. Teacher makes a summary based on the table above.
Teach the key words: frequency adverb.
2.Write the new words.
3.Show the chant of “What do you do at school/after school? ” to the students,say the chant with students
Read and practice the key words.
4.Ask the question: What do you usually do everyday ? Let the students talk about in groups, then say the passage about themselves.
Students talk about their activities with frequency adverbs.
Show the questions: “Do you live with your grandparents? Do you usually visit your grandparents? What do you usually do with your grandparents? ”
Learn the key words :visit,play sport, go shopping
Listen to the video, then answer the question:What do Alice、Kitty and Peter usually do with their grandparents?
