Step1 Leading into the new lesson
I lead the students into the new lesson using some pictures of beautiful flowers in spring.
Step2 Presentation And Practice
(1) I check the students’ previewing about the new words.No. 1 of each group try to read the new words ,then they teach their group members to read.
(2)One student explains the usage of the key words and other students take notes in class.
(3)I show the students a phrase and a picture. The students look, learn and answer, then they practice.
(4)The students talk about their favorite subjects .Then No. 2 of each group ask one by one.
(5)The students work alone to watch ,listen and complete the table in 1b.
(6)The students work in groups to read and translate the new dialogue in 1a, then two groups show.
(7)The students work in groups to talk about the key points in the dialogue and two students from different groups show the key points on the blackboard. The teacher adds if necessary.
(8)The students make up new dialogues according to 1a and share in class.
Step 3 Summary
The teacher sums up the key points in this lesson and the students go over the lesson after the teacher.
Step 4 Exercises
The students work alone to complete the exercises.
Step 5 Ending the new lesson
The teacher ends the new lesson by encouraging the students to love all the subjects and try their best to make the school life more beautiful, colorful and wonderful. The teacher calls on the students to work hard at all the subjects and enjoy the school life, then the school life will be beautiful like the spring with beautiful flowers.
