Warming-up.
In this part, I’ll ask the question:“Do you like clothes?
Do you want to see my clothes?” Then show the video about
my clothes to the students. Students watch the videos. And
it can be a good way to link to the new lesson.
While-task procedures
Teacher asks some questions about clothes.
Teach the key words: trousers,sweater,coat,shoe.
Write the new words.
Show the chant of“Which(pair of)… do you like, the …
one or the…one?”to the students, say the chant with students
Read and practice the key words.
Show the questions: Do you like clothes? Kitty, Ben and
Mrs Li are going to the clothes. What will they buy?
Listen to the video, finish the test at P53.
Read and act. Act the text out in the groups.
Post-task activities
Show the clothes shop to the students. Students work in their groups(Who is the shop assistant, who is the customer).
Team show.
Play the game“Buying clothes”by using the key sentences.
3.Show the key sentence: “Which(pair of)… do you like, the …one or the…one?” practice in the class.
4. Watch the video.
