Step 1:Pre-task preparations
Retell the story
通过复述上节课所学故事《The story of Nian》来复习上节课所学内容。
Step 2:While-task procedures
出示日历,引出节日the Mid-Autumn Festival,the Double Ninth Festival,学生跟读。
介绍中秋节的概况同时让学生根据所给词汇组合成文本介绍中秋。
The Mid-Autumn Festival is on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. On that day, we can see the big bright moon. In old stories, Chang’e lives on the moon. Chang’e has a rabbit. Its name is Jade Rabbit.
通过提问What do people do?以及What do people eat?让学生根据图片和词组造句。
出示the Double Ninth Festival的图片,了解重阳节的时间、传统食物和活动。

What do people eat at the Double Ninth Festival?
出示the Qingming Festival和the Latern Festival的图片,通过时间,传统食物和活动这几个方面来进行介绍,让学生参与到节日介绍当中,知道介绍一个节日的重点。

教师提问:Which festival do you like?让学生进行思考,为后面的活动做准备。

让学生根据给出的对话进行对话练习,同时请两组学生上台进行对话表演。
3、Think and write
学生选择一个中国传统节日,填空完成Think and write 的短文。请几名学生朗读他们的作文,学生间互相点评。
