通过本单元的学习，学生在有关中国传统节日的话题中能够
1. 通过学习Listen and say和Read a story，能够听懂、会说并能正确运用单元核心词汇：festival, important, call, end, village, last及词组the Spring Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Double Ninth Festival ,important Chinese festival进行正确表达。
2. 通过正确并熟练地朗读课文、仿读故事等方式能听懂、会说、能认读词汇：dumplings, relatives, fireworks, firecrackers及词组：on Chinese New Year’s Eve, get red packets, light firecrackers,并能够用这些词汇向别人介绍中国传统节日的相关习俗。
3.通过学习本单元的内容，学生能够用... festival comes in.. or .... It is .... People usually do sth. People usually eat.... I like the ... Festival.这样的语言结构向别人描述2-3个中国的传统节日。
4.能熟练运用以前所学语言谈论有关中国节日：
