1.核心词汇:wall,kind,through,no entry,(be)kind to,knock down
2.核心句型“...like to...do介绍别人的爱好,...always/never...,描述事件发生的频率,doing描述正在发生的动作”。
(二)教学难点:
用句型描述客观事实注意三单形式。

Step 1. Warm up.
1. 利用多媒体出示一些学生熟悉的儿童故事书的封面,如《丑小鸭》《三只小猪》《小红帽》等,与学生对话。 T: Do you know these storybooks? Can you say anything about them? S1:Yes,I know Three little pigs. It's about the three little pigs and the big bad wolf.…
2. 接着学生的话题,引入本单元的故事主题。
猜谜语找图:He is big and tall. His head is big. He has a big mouth and two big eyes. He has two big hands and two big feet too. He is very strong.
T: Is it Picture 1,2 or 3? S: Picture 3
T: This extremely big man, we call him “giant”. Today I will tell you a new story , the title is “The giant’s garden”
Step 2. Presentation.

教师带领学生带着线索听1-4图
听后教师提问:(完成任务单中任务一:Think and circle)
Who lives in the big house?
Do the children have a lot of fun?
How does the giant feel when he finds the children in his garden?
逐图谈问题后,抛出疑问
Why does the giant build a wall around his garden?
综合学生的答案,得出结论
