Teaching steps

Step1.Warming up exercises

Teacher greets students by making a self-introduction.

If the students can speak correctly, they can get one smiling face. If they can speak emotionally,they can get two smiling faces. If they can speak creatively,they can get three smiling faces.

Step2. Pre-task preparations

Play a short video about the elephants’ miserable sufferings to arouse students sympathy to the endangered animals.

Play a film about wild animals. Then show some descriptions of the wild animals.Have students guess what they are.Elicit the names of the wild animals.Pay attention to the pronunciation of the words.
