Step 1 Pre-task preparations
1.询问学生每天放学后的活动。
T:What do you usually do after school?
S1:I usually read books and listen to music.
S2:I usually ride a bike.
2.把学生分成四人小组,请每位学生讲述自己每天早上、中午和晚上做的事。
S1:I get up at seven o’clock in the morning.
I brush my teeth and wash my face.
Then I go to school.I eat lunch at school.In the evening,I always do my homeworkand read newspaper.
Step 2 While-task procedures
1.在黑板上写下170,让学生用英文快速读出数字。根据学生的回答引出句型:I’m 170 centimetres tall.How tall are you?
T:(write 170 on the blackboard)What number is it?
S1:It’s one hundred and seventy.
T:One hundred and seventy.
I’m one hundred and seventy centimetres tall.( show your height and write centimetres on the blackboard)
