一、歌曲热身,营造氛围

谈话Do you like robots?播放歌曲《I’v got a robot》,学生跟唱。

【设计意图:通过跟视频唱英文歌曲,营造英语学习氛围的同时,复习robot一词,以及句型He can … 为新课学习做好铺垫。】

旧知复习,做好铺垫

1. 拼读短语。幻灯片出示上一节课学过的短语:car museum,art museum,insect museum,science museum等学生拼读。再在此基础上,利用幻灯片做What’s missing?游戏。

2. 出示教师自己的照片,然后说:I visited a museum during the holiday。Guess:Which museum did I visit?引导学生用Did you visit…?来询问。

3. 出示前一节课的插图,给出提纲,学生复述课文。

Alice went to an ___________last Saturday.

She saw ___________________________.

She bought ________________________

Last Sunday, Joe went to a_________

He saw ________________________

He bought ______________________

【设计意图:通过游戏、猜一猜和看图复述,复习本单元的短语和Ask and answer的对话中的句型做好铺垫。】

三、问题导入,学习课文。

( 由前一节课Joe和Alice插图过度,出示Kitty和Ben的照片)T:Joe went to the car museum. Alice went to the insect museum. Kitty and her brother Ben went to a museum , too. Where did they go? What did they see ?

1.学生带问题听课文录音,Which museum did they go ? 学生回答正确后,师板书课题。

2.学生看课文视频,整体感知课文内容。将每段的大意排序。叫一名学生前面,把句子排好。然后用大屏幕来核对答案。(注意提示学生文中开头一段的时态)

( 2 ) Kitty and Ben visited “The World of Robots”.

( 3 ) They saw a robot at the piano.

( 4 ) They saw a robot dancer.

( 5 ) They had a great time there.

1.学生默读课文,帮助Kitty和Ben完成书中的海报。课件核对答案。课文中红线画出答案部分。

2.分段学文,

A. 读课文,回答:Where is the science museum? What time does the museum open ?出示答案。知道朗读。红色的词重读。

B.填空:
