T: We Know that air is very important to us all, Can you tell me why it's important?
S1:It Keeps things high in the sky.
S2:It keeps people, animals and plants alive.
T: Yes, Air is so important to us. look at these photos. Do you think the air is dirty? (展示空气污染图片,引起学生共鸣)。
T: What happen to the air? Ben and Kitty are talking about it. Let's join them (通过提问,引出say and act 对话,导入课文).

1.请学生观看Say and act 多媒体动画,尝试回答问题。
T: How is the air in the street?
S1:It's dirty.
T: How is the air in the park?
S 2:It's clean.
2.请同学们快速自读课文,找出不会的单词。
3.学习单词:smoke, factory, dirty, clean, plant Trees, 拓展单词smog, air pollution
3.跟读第一段录音并模仿。
4.自读第一段课文,然后分组角色朗读。教师提出问题,学生通过对话找出答案。
T:What makes the air dirty in the street?
S1:smoke makes the air dirty.
T:Where does the smoke come from?
S2:Some smoke comes from the factory.
S3:Some smoke comes from cars and buses.
5.T:Yes,that is why the air is dirty. So where can they get clean air?(提出问题,让学生带着问题跟读第二段的对话,了解空气洁净的原因。)
T:1.How is the air in the park?
2.What should we do to keep the air clean?让学生两人一组表演对话,表演结束后回答前面提出的问题。
S1:The air is fresh because there are a lot of trees in the park.
S2:We should plant more trees and keep the air clean.
