教学流程:
一、导入与热身
1、看黑板上贴的地球图片,引出本节课的主题。
T: Look! What is it?
S: The Earth.
T: Yes. Today we are going to learn more about the Earth.
出示课题The Earth词卡,让学生跟读。掌握之后把词卡贴在黑板标题位置。
2、带领学生进行Brainstorming:说一说你对地球的认识。
T: What do you know about the Earth?
S: It’s round.

二、新授与练习
1、播放课文Listen and say的动画,让学生找出对话中所提到的蓝色、绿色、褐色部分分别是什么。
T: The Children in Ms Guo’s class are talking about the Earth. There are many different parts on the Earth. Now let’s watch and find out what they are. (point to the picture on the blackboard)
学生观看结束后,尝试说出相应的名称。
T: What are the blue parts?
S: Oceans.
T: Yes.
出示oceans词卡,让学生跟读。掌握之后找学生把词卡贴到相应的位置。
T: Who can stick it in the right place?
同样方法教学forests, land。四个核心词汇都贴好以后,集中巩固。
2、提出问题,让学生阅读对话,找出答案并划线。
T: How was the Earth in the past? How is it now? Read the dialogue, find the answer and underline it.
学生完成之后,让学生到白板上来划出答案。
T: Who can underline the answer on the whiteboard?
跟读正确答案:The Earth was very clean and beautiful in the past, but now some parts are dirty.
