I.Pre-task preparation:
warming up
1. 和学生做“快速反应”游戏。出示各个西方节日的图片,学生马上说出对应的名称。
2. 播放Sing a song的视频或录音,学生跟着录音唱歌,活跃课堂气氛。
用多种方式,灵活展示新词,反复朗读加深印象。
II.While-task procedure:
1. 用多媒体出示Read a story的图片1,让学生阅读文字,然后回答问题。
1) What did Rudolf’s nose look like?(It was big and red.)
2) Did Rudolf like his nose? Why? (No, he didn’t. Because his friends laughed at him.)
3) What did Rudolf’s friends say about his nose?(They said his nose was funny.)
然后让学生阅读第二至第五段,填空完成下面的段落。
It was Christmas Eve. Father Christmas was on his way to give presents
通过多种方法充分锻炼学生的表达能力。
