Step1. Leading-in:

I will begin the class by watching the video.(ABC song).

T: Hello, boys and girls, nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you,too.

T: At the begging of the class, let’s watch the video together. Do you like this song? Ok, today let’s learn it together.

Step2. Presentation:

(1)Teaching the new letters by doing actions. Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn.

T：Boys and girls, I will do some actions, and you guess “what’s the letter.”

Ss: It’s the letter...

T: Great! Now, you can do it with me.

Show the pictures and teach the words:

hair, ice-cream, juice, key, lion, milk and night.

Teaching a chant:
