Step 1 Warming up
Sing the song: A Little Hello Song.
Greeting:

Review the learnt sentences and lead in the new question: What color is the rainbow?
Step 2 Presentation
List the topic “What color is it? ”on the blackboard.
Read the word “color” and the sentence.Pay attention to the sound-ling of “is it”.It’s the basic of the abilities of listening and speaking.
Learn every color of the rainbow with the help of PPT.
1). Compare the pronunciation of egg to read red.
2).Orange and yellow have be learnt ,so we just focus on its usage:The orange(a kind of fruit) is orange(a kind of color).The pear is yellow.
3).The pronunciation of “ee” is the same in the words “green” and “meet”.It can help the students pronounce the word and make them remember the spelling of the words.
4).Blue is different from green.It’s easy for the students to remember.
5).Cyan is between blue and green, but not green or blue. It’s deep blue and light green.
6). Purple is very difficult to read correctly.It will cost much time to speak.
