Learn how to use the structure of “there be ”.

Talk about the rooms with “there be ”.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Review

Greetings. Get students ready for learning.

Play a guessing game. Show some flashcards to the students to review the present continuous tense and learn the news words about rooms in homes.

T: Boys and girls, look at the flash card , then guess:

T: What is he doing?

Ss: He is reading.

T: Where is he reading?

Ss: In the study.

………

Teach the names of other rooms to the students, using the same method above. (bedroom, living room kitchen bedroom ...)

Play a game. Let students speak out which word is missing in the flashcard.

Step 2 Presentation

Do 2a. Look at the pictures. Then match the words or phrases with the places.

Lead to the structure “there be”.

T: What is this ?

Ss: This is a bag on the desk.
