Step1: Warming-up and leading-in
Greet each other.
Show the number cards from 1 to 12,then put them on the blackboard and do the rhythm:one one two two two, three three four four four….
Divide the class into 4 groups.
Step2:Presentation and practice
1. Free talk: Look at a picture to know about the students’ one day.
2. Watch a video—“I love my day”.
3.Look at my time-table and review.
4. Learn and use the sentences “I/we+(verb phrase)” to practice the new phrases: get up, have a class, have lunch, play games, watch TV, go to bed.
5. Play a game----I do you guess & you do we guess.
6. Try to ask and answer:
-When do you get up? -I get up at 6:00.
-When do you…? -I…at….
Learn to sing an English song----“I get up at six”.
Step3: practice activities.
Through the game
The first round: Look at the pictures and choose right phrases.
The second round: Find good friends.
The third round: Think and match.
The fourth round: Look at the picture and make dialogues.
