It will goes like this:
T: Do you like the weekend ?

T: What do you like to do on the weekend ?
Ss: I like to…
T: But i like to cook delicious meals on the weekend. Look , i am cooking in the kitchen.(板书课题)
Ⅱ.New Presentation:
Learn new words and sentence patterns. It will goes like this: (Teacher shows pictures and teaches the new words.)
T: I am cooking in the kitchen. “cook”What’s meaning?
Ss: 烹饪、做饭
T: “ cook” is a verb. For example: cook dinner/meals.
Ss: Ask Ss to read them loudly.
T:Look!There are all kinds of delicious food. What do you like to eat? “eat”What’s meaning? Can you guess?
Ss: “eat ↘、eat↗、eating↘” Ask Ss to read them like this.
Use the same way to learn the other new words and sentence patterns.
Ⅲ.Practice Activities:
ⅰ.Listen and read: Play the tape for the Ss. Let Ss read words after the tape. Help Ss to spell and pronounce the words correctly.
