In this lesson, I divide the class into three groups. Each group represent an animal. If you do well in class, you can climb the tree. Which group climbs high, which group is the winner. Let’s have a PK.
T: Boys and girls, look at Miss Luo, I can dance, I can jump rope, I can sing, Can you sing? Let’s sing a song together. Sing the song Head Shoulders Knees and Toes. (课件播放)
Step 2 Presentation and practice.
1. Show the words and sentence pattern.
T: Boys and girls. Look at the picture and guess: what’s this?
S: It’s a mouth.
T: What can you do with a mouth?
S: Speak, I can speak.
T: Let’s listen, read after it。
以同样的方式呈现耳朵和眼睛的照片,引出单词hear和see,再用看图片猜单词的形式呈现单词help,open和close。教读单词的过程中应用英语拼读来进行记忆,并用I can...来进行句型操练单词。
2.Practice the words.
T:Let’s play a game. Words competition. 点击转盘,如果你看到是哪个单词大声念出它的英文。
3.Practice the sentence pattern
a.Ask and answer
Look at the flashing cards and use the words to answer the question “What can you do? I can...”
b. Pair work
Let's talk with your desk-mates, use the sentence pattern:

给学生两分钟操练对话,请几组学生上台展示对话。
c. Practice more.
T: Look at the pictures and answer the question: What can he/she do? He/She can...
