Teaching procedure
Step1 (Lead-in)
Show four pictures, students answer the questions according to them. They can think freely.
Step2 :New Presentation
Task1. Students listen to an English children's song and then guide the students to learn: Which is your favourite season? Why? and then introduce the new topic “Let's talk”.
Task 2: Listening and Reading
Students listen and read , then discuss in groups to understand the dialogue. Then students show the difficult sentences .
Students act the dialogue with their deskmates, then act it in front of the classroom.
Step3. Practice.
1. Students retell the dialogue, give them two minutes to discuss. After discussion, Teacher asks them to show their answers.
2. Have a practice “Tick, then ask and answer”, then play a game called “Brain Storm”
Step4. Summary.
At the end of the class, I’d like to give two old sayings “The whole year's work depends on a good start in spring. And Morning hours is the best time of the day to work.”, Tell them to love time, don’t waste time in life especially in spring, because it’s a hopeful season.
Step5 . Homework
Act the dialogue with the partner.
2. get the students to write a short passage about the season they like and what they do in that season.
