本课的教学对象是五年级学生。大部分学生对学习英语有一定的兴趣，在课堂上积极性较高，能用简单的英语互致问候，具有组织简单会话的能力。他们活泼好动，好胜心强，在学习中乐于探索、积极合作。但其英语掌握能力有些参差不齐。

情感态度目标：通过对季节的学习，培养学生热爱大自然的美好 情感。
