Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Warm-up and Lead-in
Daily greeting.
Greet with students briefly.
Sing a song called “rain rain go away” with students together.
Lead in today’s topic: What’s the weather like today?
Step 2 Presentation
Show some pictures.
Show some pictures about today’s new words on the blackboard and let students follow the teacher to speak them in English. Through this way, I can present the following words: weather report, sunny, windy, cloudy, rainy, snowy.
Listen to the tape
Step 3 Practice
Play a game called Bomb Game.
Ask students to play a game together to review the words we have just learned.
Play another game called Flash Card.
