四、新课导入
Step1. 师生会话,导入新课题。
T: How are you feeling now? Are you happy?
Ss: yes, we are very happy!
T: why are you so happy?
Ss: Because tomorrow is May day, May day is coming, so we can not go to school, you can not go to work!
T:May day is a short holiday, so today let us learn unit 6 my holiday! Read after the title , OK?

课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(Presentation)
(1)新课展示
1. 进行到本单元时,应该接近五一假期。教师可以承接上一环节学生对日期的回答就即将到来的五一小长假展开会话,引出本节课的新授内容:
T: May Day is coming. There is a travel map, and there are many big cities on it, and i will take you go to only one place, where will you go ?
S1: I will go to Beijing on the holiday.
S2: I will go to Shanghai on the holiday.
S3: I will go to Chengdu on the holiday.
S4: I will go to Weinan on the holiday.
T: Before we get there, we should pay attention to the weather report. So what is the weather like in Chengdu tomorrow? what is the weather like in Beijing tomorrow?
Ss: It will be cloudy in Chengdu tomorrow, (学生依次回答每个地方的天气)
Step2:和同学继续会话:
T: So it will be sunny in Beijing,Where will we go on the holiday, boys and girls?(引导学生尝试说一说)
Ts: We will go to Beijing on may day.
T: So let us go to Beijing together, how will we go there?
S: We can go there by plane or by train.
教师出示北京的各种名胜古迹,展示北京风采,重点引出阅读中的重点句型, There are many places of interest there, we can visit many places of interest there.通过展示故宫图片,引出T: What can you see in the picture?
