The key points: Ss can read and write the key phrases and sentences:

The difficult points: To make students use the new phrases and sentences

in real situations.

Part II Analysis of the students

They are in Grade Six. They have been learnt English for five years.

b. Take part in many activities: English Festival, Children’s Day, Christmas Party … c. They have a lot of basic English background knowledge.

d. They are active, confident and hard-working, so they are very interested in this

hot topic.

Part III Teaching methods & studying methods

In this lesson I’ll maily use these methods:

Task-based teaching method, Situation communication method and TPR teaching method. At the same time, I’ll use multi-media and all kinds of teaching means: watching, listening, games, competitions and so on.

Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. Ss learn the new knowledge by seeing, hearing, saying, thinking and so on.
