教学过程:
一、复习导入:
1、课前热身
教师出示图片,引导学生复习表示职业的名词farmer ,worker ,teacher ,driver ,doctor ,nurse等,请学生齐读。
2、新课导入
教师以老师、司机两幅图为例,运用句型句型What does he /she do?提问,引导学生看图片回答问题, He/she is a/an …
二、新知呈现:
1、教授单词pupil
T:She is a student in a primary school .She is not in a middle school .So she is a pupil .
再次强调pupil,帮助学生理解和巩固词汇,鼓励他们加以运用。引导学生注意第一个音节pu中的u读长音/ju:/,第二个音节pil中的i不发音。
教师引导学生用 … is a pupil . 来造句练习。
2、教授单词actor,强化功能句Who’s that man /woman?并逐步引出另一功能句What does he /she do ?
教师出示成龙的图片,问:T: Who’s that man ? Ss: He is cheng long .T:He can act ,What does he do ?引导学生用…is an actor 来回答.并用…is an actor来表示他们知道的演员,并拓展单词actress
3、教授singer 和reporter
(1)、课件出示李宇春唱歌的图片。T:Who’s that woman with short hair ?
Ss: She is li yuchun.T:What can she do ?Ss: She can sing songs .T:Yes ,she can sing songs well ,she is a singer .用…is a singer ,让学生说出更多的歌星。
(2)、课件出示白岩松的照片,教授词汇reporter。用同样方法教授词汇reporter.
4、教授单词scientist
T: Who’s that man ?课件出示爱因斯坦的图片,Ss: He is Einstein.T:What does he like ?Ss:He likes science .T:Yes ,you are right ,he likes science,and he is a scientist .T:Do you want to be a scientist ?Yes ,you are great ,but it’s not easy .you must study hard .请学生用…is a scientist 造句。
5、教授词汇police officer
T:What does he do ? Ss:He is a policewoman .T: Yes ,he is a policewoman. And he is a police officer .
6、教授词汇baskenball player 和功能句Who’s that man ?
课件出示姚明的图片。T:Who’s that man ?Ss:He is yao ming .引导学生了解更多信息:T:Yes ,He is yao ming .He can play basketball very well.引导学生说出短语play basketball。T:He is a basketball player.再引导学生说出:足球运动员、乒乓球运动员等。
三、语言操练:
1、教师引导学生归纳、总结职业名词的规律。
2、课件出示图片,让学生快速的说出相应的词汇,并用句型…is a /an …来完整的描述,加强练习。
四、达标检测:
1、补全单词并翻译。
