Step1:Greeting!

Step2:Let’s chant together!

Do you like to chant? Let’s have a chant with me,OK?(OK!)/

Step3:Leading-In

Do you like xiyangyang?(Yes)Look at a picture of the sheep village.Ask:Do you like them? Yes.What do you think of xiyangyang?<友好、聪明、活泼…>

Step4: Teach the new words.

1、教授clever和outgoing.

Show a picture of xiyangyang.Ask, What is he like?利用句型:He is_______回答。学习clever,老师领读,并引导学生理解clever。指着班级一位公认较聪明的学生问,What is he/she Like? He/she is clever.除了聪明以外,What do you think of xiyangyang?(开朗、友好…)Yes. He is outgoing(外向的)。教授单词outgoing。

2、教授shy.

Look at Nuanyangyang. What is she like? She is shy.学习单词shy.指着班级里一位较害羞的男生,Ask, what is he like?He is shy.并鼓励他,Don’t be shy.

3、教授serious和kind.

出示两张慢羊羊村长的图片。Point to the first picture.Ask, what is he like?He is 严肃的。学习serious。What is the school master like? He is serious. Point to the other picture. Ask,Now, what is he like? He is smiling.So he is kind. 教授单词Kind. Ask,Is grandpa Yuan kind?Yes,he is very kind.

4、教授hard-working。

出示一张小女孩努力学习的图片。Ask, what is she like? She is hard-working. 学习单词hard-working.并逐个问学生,Are you hard-working?(Yes,…). If you want to be clever, you must be hard-working.

5、教授lazy.

Show a picture of lanyangyang. Ask, what is he like? He is very lazy.学习单词lazy。Ask some students,Are you lazy?(No,I amn’t lazy)

6、教授friendly.

出示羊村所有人的图片,What are they like? They are very friendly. 学习理解friendly。You’re my friend,I’m your friend,We’re friends.So we’re friendly to each other.

7、巩固练习

出示不同的图片,让学生用句型:What is he/she Like? He/she is…进行对话练习,并说出与图片相应的单词。

Step5:快速说单词,说说你自己。

将本课所学单词的字母顺序打乱,让学生快速说出正确的单词,哪组说得又快又好,哪组获胜。并让学生利用句型:What are you like? I’m...进行练习。

Step6:Show Time.

两人一组,指着第三者进行问答练习。

A: What is he/she Like? B:He/she is...

Step7: Talk about your teachers.

A:Who is your Chinise/Math/…teacher?

B:My Chinise/Math/…teacher is…

A: What is he/she Like?
