Step1: Warm up and lead in
1.Greetings.
2.Listen a song “Happy birthday to you”.
T:Let’s listen a song. If you can sing,please sing together.
3.T:Do you know the Chinese name of this song ?
Ss:“祝你生日快乐”。
T:Right.Today we’ll learn“Module 6 Unit 1 Happy birthday!”.(Write the topic on the blackboard )
Step2:Presentation
Show the cards, and teach the words: happy、birthday、happy birthday.
2.T: Are you happy today?
Ss: Yes.
T:Look! They are happy, too. (show the PPT)
Introduce the three boys: Jim, Tim, Kim
T: Why are they happy? Let’s watch!(play animation)
T:Why are they happy? Because today is their birthday.Their birthday is on the same day.They are triplet.
Let’s say “happy birthday”to them.
