Ⅰ warm up and lead in
1.Greeting
T:Class begins. Hello boys and girls, how are you today?
Ss: Hello Ms Ba. I'm fine.and how are you?
T:I'm fine ,too.thank you!
2.Warm up
T:We have learned many English songs.So,what's your favourite song?
Ss:It's the ABC song.
T:Do you remember? Let's review it together!Are you ready?
Ss:Yes!
(Sing the ABC song together.review the ABC song they learned in last class.)
3.Lead in
Play a game.(Let 5or 6students,divide the letters cards to them,let them rank the letters.)
show the pictures of Activity1. Let students say who are they and guess what are they doing. Then let them watch the video and answer the question:what colour of its leg?Listen the video again,follow it to repeat and point. After that let students read it together.
Teach the word of “colour”. (write “colour” on the blackboard.show some coloured cards to students ask students:What colour? Practice the word. Then ask students :what’s your favourite colour? Lead out the title:My favourite colour is yellow.
Ⅱ Task presentation
Students can say your favourite colour. Use your favourite colour to make your name cards, and show it to others.
Ⅲ Test learning
1.Look at the picture,who are they? Where are they? And what are they doing? Watch the video and answer my question:What's Sam's favourite colour?
2.Listen the tape and repeat.
3.give students two minutes to practice this conversation, and then ask two students to act it.
