VI. Teaching process:
Step1. Lead in
Show some animal pictures and colors to Ss. Ask Ss “Do you like red?”to introduce the theme.
Write the sentence patterns on the blackboard. “Do you like …?----Yes , I do ./ No, I don’t.”
Write title on the blackboard.
Step2. Presentation
(i)Chant
a.Look at the picture and read it.
b.Watch the cartoon and following to chant.
c.4groups read it one by one. And choose the best group.
(ii)New words:
Write the subject on the blackboard.
Learn the new words. Show words “pass milk fish rice mum meat noodles ”
Use the situational approach to explain “pass”
Flowing the video to read and repeat the other words .
Teacher stick the words on the blackboard.
Show the word cards and let the Ss follow me to read louder and louder.
Teacher ask some Ss to read them and correct the wrong pronunciation in time if somebody is wrong.
When learn all the new words , teacher and the Ss review them together one more time.
Teacher read them for the all Ss for three times on the blackboard, and then they should read them to their deskmates, then read them for all classmates.(all Ss --- one group---one student)
(iii)Passage:
Open the book on page 20, watch cartoon and learn the part2 together to know what is the passage main idea .
Listen to the tape,find out and underline“Do you like...”.Ss show it and get prizes.
Look at the ppt and choose which one is correct answer to consolidate the passage meaning.
m.Finish the part4 on page22.Listen and circle to consolidate the passage meaning one more time.
Step3.Practice
Finish the ppt practice by using the new sentence pattern “Do you like …?---Yes, I do./ No , I don’t.”
Two Ss as a group to make a dialogue by using the sentence pattern.
Four Ss as a group to make another dialogue by using the sentence pattern.
