Step1. Greetings.(1m)
Step2. Sing a song. (3m)
T shows some pictures and Ss listen
“Sunny came home”.
Step3. Pre-reading. (6m)
1. Look at the picture of teacher’s home on the screen and learn about new words.
T: This is my ideal home. And this is a nice house
“House and Home”
The “house” means the building that people can live ,but the “home” means a
family.And the”home” is an adverb of place,the “house “is a nuon.So they are different.
T: Whats this? (point to the yard) Do you know?
S: It s a yard. Its a large yard.
2. Look at the picture in 1a and answer 2 questions.(5m)
1)How many rooms are there in the picture?
2)Do you like the home in the picture? Why?
(Ss look at the picture and answer.)
Step4. While-reading (10m)
1. Ss skim the passage and answer: Do I love my home?
Then scan the passage and answer the questions in 1b.(check their answers)
2. Work alone. Ss read the passage again and answer:
