Step 1.Revision
1.Review the prepositions.
(1)Write down some prepositions they know on the paper. Then let two students show their answers to the class.(展台)
(2)Teaching concludes.Next...to..., between...and...,on the corner of...,near...,on the left /right of...,etc.
Step2.Presentation
Let students watch Micro lesson about prepositions and to the new phrases;
Across from...在......的对面.
Let students look at pictures and complete the sentences with the given words and phrases.Finish2a.
Teach and learn the new word:bridge 桥
Go on watching Micro Lesson,getting students to learn about the drills of asking the way and showing the way.Lead to the new lesson.
Teach and learn the following phrases and drills using PPT, and write on the blackboard.
Crossing n. 十字路口 at the first/...crossing turn left/right. 向左/右拐.
Go along ...to the end. 沿着......走一直到尽头.
Go cross...cross...,走过.../横跨....
Let students watch Flash of 1a and conclude the drills about asking the way giving the way.
Asking the way: Excuse me is there a/an ...near here?

Excuse me,which is the way to...?
Giving the way: Go up/ along...,to the end.
Turn left /right at the first /...crossing.
Go across the bridge.

Step3. Consolidition.
1. Let students listen to the tape of 1a and imitate.Then practice reading the dialogs themselves. Finally, ask students to read them in pairs and then act out.
2. Let students match the pictures with the pictures. Finish 1b.
Step4. Practice
Get students to look at the map in 1a, suppose you are standing at A and want to go somewhere. Ask students to make up new conversations in pairs.
